Pricing clerk Freight

We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Clerk to join a well-established freight forwarding company. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous freight forwarding and pricing experience looking to join a friendly and growing team.

• Obtaining rates from airlines, shipping lines, hauliers, and suppliers.
\n
• Preparing air and sea freight quotations for customers and overseas agents.
\n
• Handling spot quotes, RFQs, and tender requests.
\n
• Negotiating competitive rates with suppliers.
\n
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers and overseas partners.
\n
• Creating and updating tariffs and pricing sheets.
\n
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate quotations.
\n
• Supporting business development activities where required.
\n
• Attending supplier and customer meetings when needed.
\n

\n
• Previous experience within freight forwarding pricing or quotations.
\n
• Knowledge of air freight and sea freight.
\n
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
\n
• Ability to work in a busy office environment.
\n
• CargoWise experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
