An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced VAT Director or ambitious Senior Manager looking to take the next step in their career. Joining a growing and highly regarded Indirect Tax team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality VAT advisory and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across a wide range of sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of VAT advisory and compliance clients.
\n
• Providing clear, practical and commercially focused VAT advice.
\n
• Liaising with HMRC on technical matters, enquiries and disputes.
\n
• Supporting transactions including acquisitions, disposals, restructures and due diligence projects.
\n
• Advising clients on complex VAT issues and negotiating practical solutions.
\n
• Supporting business development by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.
\n
• Delivering VAT training to colleagues and clients.
\n
• Mentoring, managing and developing junior team members.
\n

The successful candidate will have:

• Significant VAT advisory and compliance experience gained within practice.
\n
• Strong technical knowledge of UK VAT legislation.
\n
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality advisory work.
\n
• Excellent communication, report writing and problem-solving skills.
\n
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
\n
• Previous experience managing and developing team members.
\n
• ACA, CTA or equivalent qualifications are desirable but not essential.
\n
