Location: Hybrid (2 days working from home)Salary: £25,000+ (negotiable depending on experience)

Overview

Reed Insurance London are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee / Junior Broker to join our clients growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a basic understanding of insurance who is looking to develop their career within a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.

The role will focus on new business generation, working from high-quality leads provided by our marketing team. You will be responsible for converting these opportunities into new clients while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and convert inbound leads generated by the marketing team into new business
\n
• Engage with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and provide suitable solutions
\n
• Prepare and present competitive insurance quotations
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients to ensure a positive customer journey
\n
• Work towards and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
\n
• Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and transactions
\n
• Liaise with insurers and underwriters to secure the best terms for clients
\n
• Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory requirements
\n

Skills & Experience

• Basic knowledge or experience within the insurance industry (essential)
\n
• Experience in a sales or customer-facing role (preferred)
\n
• Familiarity with Acturis or similar systems (beneficial)
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Results-driven with a proactive and positive attitude
\n
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
\n
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role
\n
