- Put care plans in place from a resident's first day and keep risk assessments up to date \n
- Communicate with the catering team about residents' dietary needs and update them if things change \n
- Help organise daily tasks and fairly delegate duties to junior staff as directed by management \n
- Register residents for the services they need \n
- Take the lead in emergencies such as safeguarding concerns, complaints, accidents or sudden deaths \n
- Administer medication, order supplies monthly and carry out weekly medication checks \n
- Support housekeeping tasks during night shifts as needed \n
- Stay informed about best practices in elderly care \n
- Follow health and safety policies and work well with other departments \n
- Be flexible - duties may vary depending on the needs of the service, and you'll be part of the on-call rota \n

- A minimum of 3 years working within the care sector \n
- 2 years supervisory experience \n
- Good people skills with a caring and compassionate nature \n
- Great organisational skills, staying calm under pressure \n
- A positive, professional, and proactive approach \n
- Experience with creating care plans \n
- A confident leader \n
- A valid UK driving licence \n
