Engineering Manager – Electrical Engineer – Manufacturing – Cannock

Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available in the Cannock area for an Engineering Manager within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with extensive electrical / control panel experience within a manufacturing environment as well as excellent management skills.

This company have an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. You would be leading a team of 11 Engineers.

The company have a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!

As Engineering Manager you will be:

• Leading the Engineering team.
\n
• Developing the engineering strategy for the company.
\n
• Overseeing the design of products.
\n
• Ensuring full compliance with electrical safety standards.
\n
• Leading continuous improvement activities through SQCDP
\n
• Optimising manufacturing processes.
\n
• Allocating engineering resources.
\n
• Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to.
\n
• Supporting the sales team with any technical information.
\n
• Dealing with any quality concerns.
\n
• Providing labour estimates for products.
\n
• Reviewing actual build costs.
\n
• Working with the procurement team.
\n
• Other duties as required.
\n

The working hours for this Engineering Manager’s role are excellent:

Mon – Thurs 8am – 5.15pm

Fri 8am – 12pm

To be suitable for this Engineering Manager’s role you should have a formal Electrical Engineering qualification as well as extensive management experience.
