This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Truck Driver.

Shifts

• 24-hour operation – various shifts available

Rates of Pay

• £14.50 – £18.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Safely operating Category C (Class 2) vehicles to and from delivery locations • Completing loading and unloading duties safely and accurately • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects • Complying with all road traffic legislation and company procedures • Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records • Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff • Working alongside a Driver's Mate when required • Some handball duties may be required

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • A valid Driver CPC Card • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes) • A reliable, professional, and punctual approach to work • Good communication and customer service skills • A good understanding of road safety and driver compliance • The ability to work effectively with a Driver's Mate

Desirable Experience

• Previous commercial Class 2 or multi-drop delivery experience • Experience delivering large or bulky goods • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
