Job Description
Morson are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to support our Operations team in delivering high-quality products on time and in line with customer expectations and regulatory standards. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving quality improvements, reducing customer escapes and internal/external concessions, and supporting the implementation of robust quality and continuous-improvement tools.

- To support the Operations team in delivering products on time and to the quality standards required by our customers \n
- Data Analysis experiece and understanding of Excel \n
- Root Cause Analysis experience \n
- To continually reduce customer escapes, internal and external concessions and the overall cost of non-quality through the application of appropriate Quality and continuous improvement tools. \n
- To ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures and external customer and regulatory requirements \n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment and organise 5S initiatives \n
- To ensure adherence to the group Quality Management System and compliance to the national and regulatory requirements including ESAA Part 21, EN 9100 and NADCAP \n
- To prepare for and contribute to external audits with Customers and regulatory bodies \n
- To schedule and manage product and process audits and any resultant non conformances and corrective actions \n
- To develop and lead customer escape prevention plans \n
- To develop and lead concession reduction plans \n
- To apply key quality tools such as PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 8D, SPC and to support others in the application of these tools. \n
Candidate skills & requirements

- To support the preparation of Quality plans for both new products and new customers: \n
- To develop and lead zero concessions plans for new products at entry into service: \n
- To ensure that first article (FAI/PPAP) reports are correctly completed for any new or modified parts: \n
- To develop and lead non quality cost (CoNQ) reduction plans: \n
- To support Operations to eliminate waste in the production processes: \n
- To operate within the Quality budget: \n
- Engineering related Degree or HNC, or equivalent experience: \n
- Quality assurance experience in a technical and/or manufacturing environment: \n
- Experience of complex problem solving and the delivery of improvement projects: \n
- Experience of the application of key quality tools (PFMEA, 8D, 6 Sigma): \n
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written: \n
- Experience of Quality planning for the introduction of new products: \n
- Experience of Aerospace quality standards and regulations: \n
- Working knowledge of French while beneficial is not essential \n
