\nOur client, a very successful and multi-award-winning estate agency, based in Quedgeley are looking for a Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join their Financial Services team.
\nThis is an excellent foot in the door to the mortgage advisory world where you will begin assisting with all mortgage administration, working closely alongside experienced advisors with the view to them progress into an advisory role yourself.
\nWhether you have recently completed your CeMap qualification and are looking to get some hands-on experience or you have previous administration experience and are looking to step into the world of mortgage advice and wish to build a career in this area, this could be the perfect job for you!
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n-Support the mortgage team with administration of mortgage and protection applications
\n- Regular liaison with lenders, providers, Solicitors and clients to obtain updates and ensure a smooth process from start to finish
\n-Conducting face-to-face and telephone appointments with clients
\n-Giving clients advice & recommendations
\n-Ensuring all documents are uploaded and communications are recorded on the appropriate systems
\n-Dealing with incoming calls, emails and post
\n-Responding quickly and effectively to all communication from clients
\n-Motivating and communicating with colleagues
\n\nCandidate Attributes:
\n-Previous experience in an administrative or customer focussed office role
\n-CeMap qualification (level 1 minimum) or equivalent CF1 & CF6
\n-Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office
\n-Confident communication skills – written and verbal
\n-Reliable and committed
\n-The ability to work within a team and to deadlines
\n\nHours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with occasional Saturdays (time off given in lieu)
\n\nSalary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience + car allowance and commission structure once fully trained
