This Assistant Retail Manager opportunity is ideal for an individual who is confident, proactive, and able to thrive in a busy, customer-focused retail environment. As the appointed Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the wider team and contributing to the smooth running of daily store operations.

Day to Day of the role:

• Supporting the Retail Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.• Leading, motivating and developing a team to deliver excellent customer service.• Supervising staff, including rota planning, training and performance management.• Managing stock levels, visual merchandising and store presentation standards.• Handling customer queries and resolving complaints in a professional manner.• Driving sales performance and supporting the achievement of store targets.• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and health & safety standards.

About You:

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or assistant management role.• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.• Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to driving sales.• Confident using Microsoft Office and retail systems (EPOS/stock control).• Flexible, reliable, and able to work weekends and peak trading periods.
