An established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory practice is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior to join its growing tax team in Cambridge. The Role\n

As a Corporate Tax Senior, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance work is delivered accurately and on time.
  • \n
  • Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax Returns for a wide range of businesses.
  • \n
  • Assisting with corporate tax advisory projects, including group restructures, capital allowances, R&D tax relief, share schemes and transactions.
  • \n
  • Supporting clients with tax planning opportunities and helping them remain compliant with UK tax legislation.
  • \n
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
  • \n
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding client matters where required.
  • \n
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners on more complex tax assignments.
  • \n
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team.
  • \n
  • Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and applying technical knowledge to client work.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with colleagues across audit, accounts and business advisory teams to deliver joined-up client solutions.

About You\n

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification.
  • \n
  • Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice specialising in Corporate Tax.
  • \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK Corporation Tax compliance.
  • \n
  • Exposure to corporate tax advisory work would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to build lasting client relationships.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach with a genuine desire to continue developing both technically and professionally.
  • \n
