A long-established, highly rated UK law firm is expanding its compliance function and seeking a Compliance Officer - Legal to support the COLP and strengthen regulatory standards across the practice. The Role

\n

You'll work closely with the team to ensure the firm meets regulatory obligations and maintains robust compliance processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with claims & complaints\n

    • \n
  • Conducting checks and compliance searches\n

    • \n
  • Maintaining central risk registers (complaints, PI notifications etc.)\n

    • \n
  • Assisting with internal file reviews\n

    • \n
  • Researching regulatory and risk-related issues\n

    • \n
  • Keeping up to date with legal and regulatory changes\n

    • \n
  • Collaborating with the wider business support team\n

    • \n

About You

\n
    \n
  • Strong communicator with excellent written accuracy\n

    • \n
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines\n

    • \n
  • 2 years' litigation experience\n

    • \n
  • Housing Disrepair knowledge beneficial but not essential\n

    • \n
  • Proclaim CMS experience advantageous\n

    • \n
  • Solid understanding of compliance, risk and legal regulations\n

    • \n
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders\n

    • \n
  • IT literate and client-focused\n

    • \n
