This role leads the development and execution of group-wide financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis for a complex international organisation. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will build a best-in-class FP&A function that supports growth, transformation, investment decisions, and board-level reporting.

Description

    • Build and lead a high-performing globalFP&A function.
    • \n
    • Own annual budgeting, long-range planning, and strategic forecasting processes.
    • \n
    • Deliver robust rolling forecasts, KPI reporting, and performance analysis.
    • \n
    • Partner with senior leadership to support commercial and operational decision-making.
    • \n
    • Develop scenario models, risk assessments, and financial stress-testing capabilities.
    • \n
    • Provide financial analysis and modelling for acquisitions, investments, and strategic initiatives.
    • \n
    • Produce board, investor, lender, and executive reporting packs.
    • \n
    • Improve planning, reporting, and analytics processes through technology and automation.
    • \n
    • Standardise FP&A practices across international business units.
    • \n
    • Act as a trusted strategic partner to the CFO and wider executive team.

Profile

\n

A successful Head of FP&A should have:

\n
    \n
      \n
    • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) and/or MBA.
    • \n
    • Significant FP&A leadership experience within a complex international organisation.
    • \n
    • Experience operating in private equity-backed, listed, or leveraged environments.
    • \n
    • Proven track record building and developing high-performing finance teams.
    • \n
    • Strong expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
    • \n
    • Experience supporting M&A activity, including valuation and integration planning.
    • \n
    • Ability to produce and present board-level financial insights and recommendations.
    • \n
    • Exposure to FP&A systems, planning tools, and finance transformation projects.
    • \n
    • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
    • \n
    • Commercially minded, analytical, and comfortable operating in fast-paced growth environments.
