Overview

A highly respected and long-established Chartered Accountancy firm in London is looking to appoint a new senior member of the US tax department. With a strong reputation and a broad client base, this firm offers excellent long-term stability, exposure and career development.

You will work alongside experienced International Tax Managers and Partners, handling a varied portfolio of US & UK personal tax clients, with involvement across compliance, advisory and planning work as your experience develops.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday with hybrid working after probation.

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

• Manage a portfolio of US clients, supporting all aspects of tax compliance and broader relationship management.
\n
• Prepare and review US tax returns.
\n
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering proactive tax advice and responding to client needs in a timely and professional manner.
\n
• Support Managers and Directors in delivering market-leading advice to US-connected clients within the UK.
\n
• Effectively manage workload to ensure all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
\n
• Provide technical support and training to junior team members.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the wider tax team to ensure a high standard of client service.
\n

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this position will have minimum 2+ years experience within US/International Tax and ideally be qualified in a recognised qualification (EA/ACA/ACCA or ATT/CTA).

You must live within a 1 hour commute of the office.
