Finance ManagerLocation: Brentford, MiddlesexSalary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annumHours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)Working Pattern: Fully office-based (No hybrid working)Reporting To: Finance Director The Opportunity Our client is seeking an ambitious and dynamic Finance Manager to join their finance team and support the Finance Director in driving strategic decision-making across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and a proactive, hands-on approach. You will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, lead a team of five finance professionals, and play a key role in ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and efficient financial operations. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five within the finance department. \n
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts. \n
- Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly. \n
- Work closely with the Finance Director on financial and regulatory reporting requirements. \n
- Oversee weekly payroll processing and client invoicing to ensure strict deadlines are achieved. \n
- Manage and approve weekly supplier payment runs. \n
- Ensure VAT, PAYE, CIS, and Corporation Tax obligations are accurately prepared and submitted on time. \n
- Manage all bank reconciliations across the business. \n
- Oversee petty cash, company credit cards, and employee expenses. \n
- Manage the company's invoice discounting facility. \n
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management. \n
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process. \n
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures. \n
- Support the Finance Director throughout the annual audit process. \n
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including a fleet of company vehicles. \n
- Maintain hire purchase schedules and record interest payments accurately. \n
- Produce ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for senior management. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes, financial controls, and operational efficiencies. \n

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar role. \n
- Previous experience managing and developing finance teams. \n
- ACCA or CIMA part-qualified as a minimum (fully qualified candidates also welcome). \n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge. \n
- Excellent understanding of month-end and year-end accounting processes. \n
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems. \n
- Experience with Sage 50 Cloud would be highly advantageous. \n
- Degree educated (desirable). \n
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business. \n
