Service Manager – Adult Social Care

Location: CrawleySalary: £60,000 + Benefits

An established and values-led care provider is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop a specialist adult social care service.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who can deliver high-quality, person-centred care, drive service performance, and support a dedicated team to achieve outstanding outcomes for the people they support.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the service and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
\n
• Lead, motivate and develop care teams, including recruitment, performance management and staff development.
\n
• Drive continuous improvement, maintaining excellent standards of care and service delivery.
\n
• Manage budgets, resources and KPIs effectively to ensure operational success.
\n
• Build positive relationships with commissioners, regulatory bodies, families and other stakeholders.
\n
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and best practice standards are consistently maintained.
\n

About You

\n
• Hold a relevant Nursing or Social Care qualification.
\n
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
\n
• Previous experience managing or supervising within a care setting.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
\n
• Sound understanding of CQC/regulatory requirements, safeguarding and employment practices.
\n
• Confident managing budgets, performance metrics and service improvement initiatives.
\n
