\nRole Purpose:Responsible for providing back-office finance admin support, the Accounts Payable Administrator will ensure all overhead, property and commercial vendor payments related to all Superdrug and Savers stores are accounted for and reported correctly, supporting the brands to continue to trade efficiently and delight customers across all channels. This role reports to the AP Manager for AS Watson Health & Beauty UK. A typical day in this role includes:Ensuring all invoices processed in a timely mannerProactively responding to and resolving stakeholder and supplier queries and escalating where necessary Processing and prioritizing payments in line with payment schedule and business needReconciling all bank accounts and investigation to ensure cleared on a timely basisReconciling vendor accounts to statement and following best practice in relation to vendor balance sheet accountsChampioning finance policies, processes and procedures Supporting the continual development of processes and procedures to improve efficiency Ensuring accurate reporting and compliance processes are followed, including completion of all month end tasksRegular review of supplier aging and development of action plans to resolve aged items Interacting with a variety of stakeholders: Commercial, supply chain, procurement, property functionsStakeholders from outside the BU: Key vendors and suppliersOther adhoc activities as directedThis job is a good fit for you if:Youre a real self-starter and can take initiative to deliver results for our customers You have a passion for delivering great service to your stakeholders and have high levels of integrityYou understand the importance of your role in the team and how it impacts the customerYou are good at building strong collaborative relationships You are comfortable challenging the status quo and sharing ideas with the teamYou are excited by finding ways to improve process and making things easier for the team You have strong attention to detail and can see the ‘big pictureYou get satisfaction though finding creative solutions to issues You see every interaction with the customer as an opportunity to brighten their day.Discover new ways to work that put a smile on our customers and team members faces,making every shopping experience delightfulCan be ‘The Best You using positive language and behaviours with customers and teammembersYou team up with others to find solutions through Ai and thrives on the strength of working together.You always seek out fresh ways to work through technology and/or Ai that can boost the business and move things forwardActively develop your ability to use AI effectively and think critically about outputs Strengthen Human Touch - Keeping the human element strong: You balance AI efficiency with human coaching, empathy, and team cohesion What youll need:A quick learner who can work to a deadlineA keen eye for detail and a passion for finance Good understanding of ExcelExperience of working in a shared service environment would be idealTo be the voice of customers and orchestrate the organisation to live the brand purpose and inspire a customer-first culture to build customer love in every touchpoint of our Online and Offline platform Is committed to join in, have some fun and celebrate everyones hard workBuilds great working relationships based on trust, respect and considers others needs.
