Plant Fitter

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant Fitter to join a busy, professional, and friendly workshop team based in Greenford. This is an excellent long-term opportunity offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and a supportive working environment.

This role would suit a skilled technician with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent mechanical knowledge, and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on plant machinery
\n
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently
\n
• Complete inspections and identify potential issues
\n
• Use diagnostic equipment and specialist tools effectively
\n
• Repair and replace components
\n
• Order parts and materials as required
\n
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
\n
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
\n

Requirements

\n
• Previous experience working as an Plant Fitter
\n
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
\n
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
\n
• Time-served technicians will also be considered
\n
