Financial Services Administrator
\nLocation: Hybrid (office/home working) Office in Uxbridge
\nHours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
\nSalary: £33,000–£36,000 depending on experience
\n\nOur clients are an independent financial planning practice committed to building long-term relationships with clients through exceptional personal service.
\n\nAs the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join the team and play a key role in supporting both the advisers and clients.
\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in financial services who enjoys working in a client-focused environment.
\n\nThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the financial planning process, ensuring that business is processed accurately, clients are kept informed, and advisers have everything they need to deliver an outstanding service.
\n\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nProvide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers and Paraplanners throughout the financial planning process.
\n\nManage the end-to-end processing of new business across pensions, investments and protection.
\n\nHandle Letters of Authority (LOAs), ensuring requests are submitted, monitored and followed through efficiently to obtain the required information from providers.
\n\nSupport the firm's ongoing Annual Review Service by preparing review packs, obtaining up-to-date valuations and policy information, scheduling reviews and ensuring service standards are maintained.
\n\nPrepare documentation and client information for meetings.
\n\nLiaise with providers, platforms and third parties to progress cases and resolve queries.
\nMaintain accurate client records and workflows within Intelligent Office.
\n\nAssist with report preparation and administration required by Paraplanners.
\n\nProvide proactive updates to clients throughout the advice process, delivering a high standard of customer service.
\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve administrative processes and contribute to the continued efficiency of the business.
\nSkills and Experience
\nEssential
\nPrevious experience working within a Financial Services Administration role.
\nGood understanding of pensions, investments and protection products.
\nExcellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
\nAbility to manage multiple cases and prioritise workload effectively.
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
\nProfessional and personable approach when dealing with clients.
\nCompetent in Microsoft Office applications.
\nDesirable
\nExperience using Intelligent Office (iO).
\nExperience using FE Analytics.
\nKnowledge of industry platforms and provider systems.
\nExperience supporting financial planners within an independent financial advice practice.
