Construction Solicitor/Associate Non-Contentious) Newcastle | 2+ PQE | Construction, Engineering & Projects An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join one of the North East's leading commercial law firms. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly respected Construction, Engineering & Projects team, advising an impressive client base on a wide range of high-quality and complex non-contentious construction matters. The Role You'll work closely with experienced Partners and Solicitors, advising developers, contractors, consultants, funders, investors and other key stakeholders on a broad range of construction and engineering projects across the UK and internationally. Your work will include:\n

- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, including JCT and NEC forms \n
- Advising on professional appointments and collateral warranties \n
- Supporting clients on complex development and infrastructure projects \n
- Building strong, long-term client relationships \n
- Contributing to business development initiatives and helping to grow the practice \n

- A minimum of 2 years' PQE in construction law \n
- Strong experience advising on non-contentious construction matters \n
- Experience drafting and negotiating JCT and NEC contracts, professional appointments and collateral warranties \n
- Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills \n
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to client advice \n
- An interest in business development and building client relationships \n
