\nYou’ll be reporting into the Commercial Finance Director and taking real ownership across forecasting, budgeting, reporting, commercial insight and business partnering.
\nThis is a forward looking finance role.

\nProper business partnering
\nYou’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and department heads, challenging assumptions, reviewing cost pressures and helping drive better accountability across the business.
\nForward looking FP&A focus
\nThis is not a traditional month end role. There is reporting involved, but the main focus is forecasting, planning, insight, modelling and improving how finance supports decision making.
\nExec exposure
\nYou’ll be involved in group level reporting, senior stakeholder conversations and board level insight, so there is plenty of visibility across the business.
\nTeam management
\nYou’ll manage and develop 2 Finance Business Partners, helping raise the quality of commercial insight, challenge and ownership across the team.
\nHigh calibre finance team
\nYou’ll be joining a finance function that is evolving, improving systems, strengthening forecasting and pushing finance closer to the business.
\nWhat you’ll be doing
\n• Owning the group forecast and leading the budgeting and forecasting process
\n• Challenging assumptions, risks and opportunities across the business
\n• Producing sharp commentary, reporting and insight for senior stakeholders and exec level conversations
\n• Leading monthly overhead reviews and acting as a proper finance business partner around cost, spend and accountability

\n• Improving MI, reporting, financial modelling and ways of working
\n• Getting involved in process improvement, including the use of AI and new FP&A tools
\nWhat they’re looking for
\n• Qualified accountant, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
\n• Strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering experience
\n• Previous management experience is required
\n• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
\n• Experience owning forecasts and budgets
\n• Confident challenging senior stakeholders
\n• Strong communication and influencing skills
\n• Strong presence in the room
\n• Someone who can say what needs to be said, in the right way

\n• Additional long-term incentive potential
\n• 25 days holiday, increasing with service
\n• Private medical insurance
\n• Life assurance
\n• Matched pension contribution
\n• Free onsite parking
\nThis would suit someone who wants a proper commercial finance role with ownership, visibility, team management and the chance to influence how a growing business plans, forecasts and makes decisions.
