Production & Quality Manager Lancaster, Lancashire | Full-Time, Permanent | Salary up to £55,000 (DOE) Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader with a passion for quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement? I’m currently partnering with a well-established and growing UK manufacturer to recruit a Production & Quality Manager for their Lancashire-based operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a specialist industrial environment, where you’ll have real influence on production performance, quality standards, and future growth. The Opportunity This is a pivotal position overseeing both production operations and quality systems, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the shop floor while driving improvements across the wider business. You’ll lead a team of around 12 operatives, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes. - Overseeing day-to-day production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets \n
- Leading, mentoring, and developing production staff \n
- Managing and improving the ISO 9001 quality management system \n
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes \n
- Investigating and resolving production and quality issues \n
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and company standards \n
- Managing quality inspections, audits, documentation, and reporting \n
- Supporting production planning, scheduling, and operational performance \n
- Collaborating with internal teams to meet customer requirements \n
- Leading and developing training programmes across production \n
