HGV Class 2 Driver - New Pass Welcome!

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bury area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join the team.

New Pass Welcome!

Shifts: Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) - drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays.

Hours: Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts

Pay Rate: £17.59 per hour

Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, IP32 7FQ

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
\n
• Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
\n
• Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
\n
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Full UK driving license with Class 2 (category C&E).
\n
• Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
\n
• No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
\n
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
\n
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
\n
• Excellent communication skills.
\n
• A safety-first mindset.
\n
