\nWe're recruiting a Finance Manager to join a well-established and market-leading organisation based in Sheffield. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to influence business performance, strengthen commercial decision-making and support the continued development of the finance function.
\nThis position is ideal for someone who enjoys working beyond the numbers, building strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, delivering meaningful commercial insight and driving continuous improvement.
The Role\nReporting into the finance leadership team, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial analysis and commercial insight across the business, acting as a trusted finance business partner to a wide range of stakeholders.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Acting as a Finance Business Partner across both finance and non-finance teams \n
- Producing meaningful management information and commercial reporting \n
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities \n
- Delivering detailed variance analysis and performance commentary \n
- Developing project costing, margin analysis and profitability reporting \n
- Supporting improvements in financial controls and reporting processes \n
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and continuous improvement \n
- Contributing towards the ongoing development of the finance function \n
- Building strong relationships across the business to provide commercial challenge and support informed decision-making \n
We're looking for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys adding value beyond traditional reporting.
\nYou'll ideally have:
\n- \n
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification \n
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment \n
- Strong management accounting experience \n
- Experience of finance business partnering with both finance and non-finance stakeholders \n
- Experience of project costing, stock accounting or WIP reporting \n
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills \n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities \n
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process enhancement \n

- £50,000–£60,000 salary, depending on experience \n
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days from home) \n
