My client is looking for a Business Systems Lead to join their team, who has a proven track record of improving the operational excellence aspects of commercial, manufacturing and supply chain operations with regards to safety, quality, delivery, productivity/efficiency and overall profitability. You will have responsibility in Strategic Planning, Project Management, execution of Continuous Improvement initiatives as well as Coaching and Training. This role would suit someone who has a strong grasp of an Engineering company with an understanding of precision machining.

Responsibilities/ Education:

  • Directly support the site in achieving strategic deployment objectives by developing a site specific Lean transformational Roadmap
  • \n
  • Improve Core Value Drivers and KPI’s to support Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, Growth, and People development in the use of problem-solving tools
  • \n
  • Lead efforts to accelerate NPI throughput supporting strategic business growth
  • \n
  • Promote and facilitate shop floor workflow analysis and creating/implementation of standard work to achieve improvement priorities
  • \n
  • Coordinate and track the monthly strategic deployment activities and initiatives in support of meeting business metrics, Annual Improvement Priorities (AIPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • \n
  • Lead and Project Manage change throughout the organization
  • \n
  • Coach other leaders on Lean daily management practices to drive sustained improvements in KPIs
  • \n
  • Drive associate participation (including process experts) in Lean initiatives
  • \n
  • Bachelor’s Degree ideally in a relevant engineering/manufacturing associated discipline
  • \n
  • Certified in and working knowledge of CI methodologies (e.g. Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma)
  • \n
  • Experience and working knowledge of utilizing structured problem solving methodologies
  • \n
  • Experience and working knowledge of MRP or similar Production control systems
  • \n
