Finance Manager - Glasgow - £40k - £50k

Meraki Talent is delighted to be supporting an established sustainability firm in Glasgow with their search for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis paying £40k - £50k. This is an exiting opportunity offering a clear progression path to Finance Director within a highly successful and profitable organisation truly making a difference.

The Role:

This role will involve managing the finance function within an SME environment preparing monthly management accounts, managing the transactional finance function and supervising a finance assistant.

• Producing Monthly Management Accounts.
\n
• Cashflow analysis and reporting as required.
\n
• Purchase/Sales invoicing.
\n
• Payment runs
\n
• Bank reconciliations and processing expenses
\n
• Month end journals, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed asset depreciation
\n
• Cost V Budget variance analysis
\n
• P&L and monthly reporting to the directors
\n
• Control of credit card and petty cash.
\n
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
\n
• VAT return
\n

• Experience in a similar role within an SME environment

• QBE, PQ or Qual

• Producing management accounts

• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and technical skills
