About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing retail and e-commerce business with an excellent reputation for customer service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Business Support Officer to join their team on a part-time basis.

\n

The Role

\n

You'll play a key role in supporting daily operations, assisting with customer enquiries and helping to ensure high standards of service delivery. You'll also support departmental priorities during periods of holiday, sickness and planned absence, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operational processes and customer enquiries.
  • \n
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within the online sales and support function.
  • \n
  • Help resolve fulfilment and order-related issues to maintain excellent customer satisfaction levels.
  • \n
  • Process online orders and purchase invoices using internal systems.
  • \n
  • Monitor stock availability, supplier lead times and product information.
  • \n
  • Manage fulfilment processes, including returns, exchanges and cancellations.
  • \n
  • Provide cover and support for departmental activities when required.
  • \n

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous administration experience.
  • \n
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • \n
  • Excellent written communication and numerical ability.
  • \n
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and workloads.
  • \n
  • Comfortable learning and using new IT systems.
  • \n
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • \n
\n

Desirable

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • \n
  • Previous experience within e-commerce, order processing or business support functions.
  • \n
\n
