Location: Luton, Bedfordshire (Daily commuting required. Suitable for candidates based in North London, Luton, Milton Keynes, St Albans, Stevenage and surrounding areas.)

About the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly organised General Manager's Assistant to join our UK manufacturing operation in Luton.
\nThis is a senior, hands-on management position combining factory operations, executive support and European brand development. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our UK factory while supporting the company's strategic growth across the European market.
\nThis position is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial operations who is equally comfortable coordinating senior management activities and driving business development initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesFactory Operations & Business Management\n- \n
- Take overall responsibility for the daily operation of the UK factory, including production, sales support, administration and general site management. \n
- Monitor operational performance and ensure efficient production planning, quality control and workflow management. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities to expand existing business partnerships. \n
- Prepare and present regular management reports covering production, sales performance and team operations to Group Management. \n

- Develop and coordinate branding and marketing strategies for the European market. \n
- Manage both online and offline promotional activities, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and industry marketing campaigns. \n
- Plan and coordinate the company's annual exhibition programme, including exhibition strategy, promotional materials and event preparation. \n

- Manage the Group General Manager's schedule during visits to the UK. \n
- Coordinate customer meetings, supplier visits, factory inspections and business travel arrangements. \n
- \n
- Lead, organise and develop the UK team, ensuring clear objectives, effective communication and high performance. \n
- Allocate work, conduct performance reviews and promote a positive working culture. \n
- Maintain strong employee relations and ensure compliance with UK workplace practices. \n
- Develop and implement training programmes to improve team capability and professional development. \n

- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. \n
- Minimum 4 years' senior management experience within a manufacturing, engineering or multinational business. \n
- Previous experience in positions such as Operations Manager, Factory Manager, General Manager, Plant Manager or equivalent. \n
- Strong understanding of production operations, workshop management, quality systems and manufacturing processes. \n
- Excellent organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Eligible to work full-time in the UK. \n

- Experience within the HVAC, manufacturing, industrial automation or engineering sectors. \n
- Experience in B2B marketing, branding or exhibition management would be advantageous. \n
