Occupational Therapist

Vivid Healthcare are working with a specialist service in Southampton seeking a Locum Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation. This role sits within a dedicated neuro rehab team, supporting patients with complex neurological conditions to maximise independence and function.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, goal oriented environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

• Managing a caseload of patients with neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, brain injury, MS)
\n
• Delivering specialist neuro rehab interventions
\n
• Completing detailed functional, cognitive, and perceptual assessments
\n
• Goal setting and treatment planning in line with rehab pathways
\n
• Upper limb rehabilitation and splinting (where applicable)
\n
• Discharge planning and community reintegration support
\n
• Working collaboratively within an MDT (Physio, Speech & Language Therapy, Neuropsychology)
\n
• Maintaining accurate clinical records
\n

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
\n
• Proven experience within neuro rehabilitation
\n
• Experience working with stroke and/or brain injury patients
\n
• Strong understanding of cognitive and perceptual impairments
\n
• Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
\n
• NHS experience preferred
\n
