Job Description

Financial Planning Administrator | Outer Guildford, Surrey | £30,000 – £40,000 plus bonus

\n

This is a rare opportunity to join one of Surrey's most established and well-regarded Independent Financial Advisory firms — a business that has been quietly doing things the right way for over two decades.

\n

Based on the outskirts of Guildford, the firm supports a loyal and diverse client base spanning Surrey, Hampshire and London, with investable assets typically ranging from £100,000 to £1 million or more. Many of these are long-standing relationships with local families, retirees and high-net-worth individuals, built on trust and continuity over many years. The business also holds valued partnerships with a number of professional sports clubs, which continue to bring new client relationships through the door.

\n

Following an exceptionally strong twelve months, the Managing Director is looking for a Financial Planning Administrator to join the team and play a central role in supporting the firm's advisers, paraplanners and mortgage specialists. If you have hands-on experience of Intelligent Office (Intelliflo), this firm wants to hear from you — it sits at the heart of how the business runs, and confidence using it will make a genuine difference from day one.

\n

Day to day you will be onboarding new clients, gathering personal and financial details, preparing letters of authority and valuations, conducting AML checks, liaising with product providers and preparing meeting documentation and resources. The firm works across a number of platforms including Quilter, Aviva, Elevate, Standard Life Wrap and Transact.

\n

This is a well-supported role in a business that invests in its people. You will benefit from a thorough induction, study support for any professional exams you are undertaking, 25 days' holiday, a strong pension contribution, a bonus scheme and enrolment onto a death-in-service and income protection scheme. Parking is accessible and on hand.

\n

The right candidate will be organised, personable and keen to develop within a firm that takes real pride in the quality of its client relationships. Prior experience in financial services administration is essential.
