HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver required in Stonehouse. Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 (dependent on experience), Hours: 45 hours per week with overtime available, Contract: Permanent opportunity with a brand-new tanker vehicle provided.Pertemps are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver to join a well-established and expanding wastewater solutions company with over 10 years of industry experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tanker driver seeking a long-term position within a supportive and growing business.Working across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites, you will be responsible for servicing septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations while delivering a professional and customer-focused service. The business is investing in its fleet, with a brand-new lorry arriving at the end of August, which will be allocated to the successful candidate, making this a standout opportunity for an experienced driver looking for quality equipment and long-term stability.Key Duties\n

- Operating a Class 2 tanker safely and efficiently across customer sites. \n
- Emptying septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations. \n
- Transporting and disposing of waste at authorised tipping facilities. \n
- Completing daily vehicle inspections and relevant paperwork. \n
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations. \n
- Following health and safety procedures at all times. \n
- Working closely with service and installation teams to deliver excellent customer service. \n
- Maintaining a professional image and high standards of vehicle care \n

- Previous experience as a Tanker Driver is required. \n
- Valid Category C (Class 2) HGV licence. \n
- CPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
- Good time-management and organisational abilities. \n
- Ability to work independently and use initiative when required. \n
- Basic wastewater industry knowledge would be advantageous. \n
- Flexible attitude to working hours and workload demands. \n

- 45 hours per week. \n
- Typical start times between 06:30 and 07:30. \n
- Average shifts are around 9 hours, depending on workload and route requirements. \n
- Monday to Friday - overtime available \n
- Saturday overtime available at premium rate (1.5x). \n
- Additional overtime opportunities available throughout the year. \n
