Role: Production Operative (Early Shift)Location: Hailsham, East SussexHours: 48 hours per week (Monday-Thursday: 6:00 am - 4:45 pm / Friday: 6:00 am - 2:45 pm)Pay: £12.21 - £13.68 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for Production Operatives to join one of our clients, a forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Hailsham, East Sussex. This role is offered on a full-time temporary contract, working as part of the production team on the early shift.

Please note: You must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle due to the remote location.

The Requirements:

\n
• Safety footwear required
\n
• Physically fit with knowledge of manual handling
\n
• Due to the site's location, own transport is required
\n
• Good understanding of Health & Safety in a production environment
\n
• Willingness to learn and follow written and verbal instructions
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and strong quality standards
\n
• Basic maths and measurement skills
\n
• Reliable, with good timekeeping and strong work ethic
\n
• Basic computer skills
\n
• Flexibility to work alternative shifts if required
\n

The Role:

\n
• Set up machinery at the beginning of each shift
\n
• Carry out safety and quality checks before and during runs
\n
• Monitor and optimise machine performance during production
\n
• Accurately log run-time and downtime data
\n
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning at the end of shift
\n
• Operate pallet jacks and other relevant equipment
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
\n
• Report progress, issues, or hazards to the Production Manager
\n
