Personal Tax ManagerWatford | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary + Excellent BenefitsA highly regarded and long-established independent accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Manager to join its growing Private Client team in Watford.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional looking to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, trusts and owner-managed businesses, whilst gaining exposure to a broad range of advisory work within a collaborative and supportive environment.The RoleYou'll work closely with Partners and senior members of the tax team, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of private clients and delivering both compliance and advisory services.Responsibilities include:\n

- Managing a portfolio of personal, partnership and trust tax clients. \n
- Reviewing tax returns and technical work prepared by junior team members. \n
- Identifying and delivering tax planning opportunities for clients. \n
- Supporting clients through HMRC enquiries and compliance checks. \n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships. \n
- Collaborating with Partners and colleagues on a wide range of advisory projects. \n
- Coaching and supporting junior members of the tax team. \n
- \n
- CTA qualification (or equivalent). \n
- At least 2 years' post-qualified experience within private client tax. \n
- Strong personal tax compliance experience with exposure to advisory work. \n
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff. \n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Up-to-date technical tax knowledge. \n
- Experience using tax software such as Digita would be advantageous. \n
