CNC Milling Machinist - Programmer / Setter / Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with expertise in programming, setting, and operating 5-axis Matsuura machines among others. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in aerospace, although this is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high-precision components and receive training on various high-tech machinery.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Set up and operate CNC machines including Matsuura (MAM72-52, MAM72-42, MAM72-35), DMU, Mori Seki (NH4000 & 5000 DCG Horizontal Pallet, Eco line 50), and HAAS (Mini Mill, VF1, VF2, VF3).
\n
• Program CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments.
\n
• Modify programs in response to problems or component specifications.
\n
• Ensure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.
\n
• Make calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise.
\n
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n
• Proven experience as a CNC Miller, particularly in programming, setting, and operating machines.
\n
• Strong understanding of ISO NC Programs.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
\n
• Precision and attention to detail, suitable for working within tight limits.
\n
• Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
\n
• Willingness to undergo further training and adapt to new technologies.
\n
