FABRICATION OPERATIVE

Location: Aylesford, KentPay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmContract: Temporary (3 months initially, with the potential to be extended depending on workload)

HR GO Recruitment are currently looking for a Fabrication Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Gravesend on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic sheet metal fabrication experience who is hands-on, willing to learn and looking to develop new skills. Full training will be provided in laser welding, which will make up the majority of the role.

• Basic sheet metal fabrication.
\n
• Operating a press brake (operation only - no setting required).
\n
• Riveting components.
\n
• Laser welding (full training provided).
\n
• Grinding and sanding finished products.
\n
• Using general hand tools, including drills, files and other workshop equipment.
\n
• Following engineering drawings and quality standards.
\n
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
\n

• Previous experience within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
\n
• Basic sheet metal fabrication experience.
\n
• Comfortable using hand tools and workshop equipment.
\n
• A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
\n
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.
\n
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
\n

• £16.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
\n
• Monday to Friday working hours - no weekends.
\n
• Full training provided in laser welding.
\n
• Friendly and supportive working environment.

• Initial 3-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension depending on business workload.
