An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a successful and growing SME on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Candidates seeking either 4 or 5 days per week will be considered.

This is a busy, demanding opportunity that would suit a hands-on Finance Manager or Company Accountant who enjoys working in a varied role with ownership across the day-to-day finance function.

The responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day finance operations and ensure smooth running of the function
\n
• Produce accurate financial reports and provide insight to support business decisions
\n
• Prepare quarterly management accounts and supporting analysis
\n
• Manage cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and reporting
\n
• Maintain robust financial controls
\n
• Liaise with external auditors and support the year-end audit process
\n
• Work closely with senior leadership to provide commercial financial support
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and add value across the business
\n

The candidate:

• Experienced Finance Manager with a strong hands-on SME background
\n
• Confident managing a broad finance function with minimal supervision
\n
• Strong understanding of management accounts, reporting, and cash flow
\n
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
\n
