The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.

• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
\n
• Develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
\n
• Support children's academic, social, and emotional development.
\n
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.
\n
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through meetings, events, enrichment activities, and professional development opportunities.

• Maintain high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all pupils.
\n

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this KS1 Teacher role, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
\n
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
\n
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
\n
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
\n
• A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
\n
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
\n
• A passion for helping every child achieve their full potential.
