Engineering Tutor (Engineering Technician)
\nLocation: Wythenshawe
\nSalary: £35,459 - £39,459.43 per annum
\nAdditional Benefits: £4,250 Car Allowance

\n\nAbout the Role
\n\nThe successful candidate will deliver engaging classroom-based training and support apprentices undertaking the Engineering Technician Standard. You'll help learners develop their technical knowledge across engineering principles, mathematics and scientific concepts relevant to their apprenticeship programme.
\n\nThis position would suit someone from an engineering background who may be looking to move into education and training. Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential, as training and development can be provided.
\n\nKey Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to Engineering apprentices. \n
- Teach knowledge components of the Engineering Technician Standard. \n
- Support learning in: Engineering Principles Engineering Mathematics Scientific Principles Technical Engineering Theory \n
- Coach and mentor apprentices throughout their programme. \n
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records. \n
- Develop lesson plans and learning resources. \n
- Work closely with employers to ensure training meets workplace requirements. \n
- Support apprentices to successfully achieve their qualifications. \n
Essential Requirements
\n- \n
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering. \n
- Strong engineering industry experience. \n
- Ability to teach and explain engineering knowledge, including mathematics and scientific principles. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence. \n
Desirable Requirements
\n- \n
- Teaching, Assessing or IQA qualification. \n
- Apprenticeship or vocational training experience. \n
- HNC/HND or higher qualification in Engineering. \n
- Knowledge of the Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard. \n
