Project Manager - Technology Transformation

London | 24-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid Working (4 Days Office-Based)

We are partnering with a large, multi-site organisation undertaking a major technology and operational transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a workforce management and scheduling solution.

\n

This is a high-profile role where you will work with operational teams, senior stakeholders, and technology partners to deliver a business-critical platform that will enhance workforce planning, rostering, resource allocation, and day-to-day operational management across multiple locations.

\n

The Role

\n

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of delivery from mobilisation through to implementation and transition into business-as-usual. Working across multiple business units and stakeholders, you will ensure the programme is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic business objectives.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and implementation.
  • \n
  • Owning project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
  • \n
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and implementation partners.
  • \n
  • Managing delivery across multiple locations while balancing central standards with local operational requirements.
  • \n
  • Leading governance forums and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Identifying, managing, and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • \n
  • Overseeing system integration activities, testing, data readiness, deployment, and cutover planning.
  • \n
  • Supporting change management, user adoption, training, and operational readiness activities.
  • \n
  • Building strong relationships across operational, technical, and leadership teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • \n

About You

\n

You will have a proven track record delivering complex technology and business transformation projects within large, operationally focused environments.

\n

Key requirements include:

\n
    \n
  • Experience delivering large-scale technology transformation programmes.
  • \n
  • Background implementing workforce management, scheduling, rostering, planning, or optimisation systems.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership teams.
  • \n
  • Experience working across multiple sites, business units, or geographically dispersed teams.
  • \n
  • Excellent project governance, planning, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.
  • \n
  • Ability to translate business and operational requirements into effective technology solutions.
  • \n
  • Experience delivering large-scale operational change initiatives.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • \n

Desirable Experience

\n
    \n
  • Implementation experience of HASTUS or a similar workforce planning and scheduling platform.
  • \n
  • Experience within complex operational, logistics, resource-planning, or service-led environments.
  • \n
  • Exposure to federated or decentralised operating models.
  • \n
\n
