This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer looking to step into a management role or for a seasoned manager ready to inspire a team to deliver exceptional service aligned with our values and safety standards.

Your Role\n

As our Field Service Manager, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of the Branch Business Plan, overseeing key performance metrics such as PPM performance, LOLER defect management, and first-time fix rates.
  • \n
  • Champion our company values, ensuring our service delivery reflects our commitment to quality and operational excellence.
  • \n
  • Manage and support our Field workforce and subcontractors, focusing on Health and Safety, people development, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and risk management.
  • \n
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, conveying complex technical information clearly and confidently.
  • \n

You will be based at our LIB Service Branch in Orpington, with travel across Greater London expected, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Hours\n

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Efficiently plan Engineers' workloads.
  • \n
  • Manage team absence, performance, and appraisals.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, conducting risk assessments and method statements.
  • \n
  • Carry out regular site monitoring.
  • \n
  • Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.
  • \n
  • Maintain credit control logs and CRM.
  • \n
Qualifications\n

Field Service Manager Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the lift industry or a similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
  • \n
  • Relevant technical or management qualifications are desirable.
  • \n
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is preferred.
  • \n
