Your New Role\n

We’re excited to announce an opening in our dynamic Technical Services team at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making Of Harry Potter (WBSTL). This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to step into a frontline Duty Technician role, responding to the day-to-day technical needs of our attraction.

This position is a twelve-month fixed-term contract where you will not only ensure the highest levels of customer service for our visitors but also play a crucial role in maintaining the magic of the experience.

Your Role Accountabilities\n

• Setup, operate, and maintain industry-leading show technology, including lighting, sound, video, and integrated systems to ensure a consistent visitor experience.
\n
• Deliver all technical and exhibition-related maintenance within agreed schedules and standards.
\n
• Assist with the delivery of live events as needed.
\n
• Ensure public and staff safety at all times.
\n
• Monitor and protect assets and equipment to maximize quality and lifespan.
\n
• Comply with internal health and safety regulations and working practices.
\n
• Maintain effective communication across departments, including Visitor Experience and Studio Facilities.
\n
• Contribute to themed feature development and maintenance projects as directed by the Technical Services Management team.
\n
• Be part of the Visitor Services team, covering weekends, evenings, and school holidays on a shift pattern.
\n

Qualifications & Experience\n

\n
• Proven track record in a similar maintenance position, preferably in the entertainment or visitor attraction industry.
\n
• Knowledge of live event production and relevant audio-visual skills.
\n
• Experience with installed audio-visual show systems, including fault finding and troubleshooting.
\n
• Basic carpentry and maintenance skills, with a good understanding of workshop environments.
\n
• Experience in an operational and customer-facing environment with significant public interaction.
\n
• Proven IT skills, including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
\n
• Basic knowledge of IT switch networks and IP-based control systems.
\n

Working Pattern\n

This is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours per week. The role operates on a flexible rota, including a mix of early, mid, and late shifts, with times ranging from 6:30 AM to 10:45 PM. You will be required to work every other weekend as part of your regular schedule.
