Product Asset Manager

About the Role:
\n As a Product Asset Manager EMEA, you will play a crucial role in managing the purchase order book, inventory position, and supply planning activities for a defined supplier portfolio. This position supports a key supplier within a global listed company and is essential for ensuring product availability across the EMEA business. Your efforts will help improve inventory quality, reduce excess and slow-moving stock, and meet customer delivery requirements. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers, sales teams, finance, warehouse, and internal operations in a dynamic, hybrid environment.

- Manage purchase orders, order reschedules, backlog, and delivery schedules to meet customer demand and requested delivery dates. \n
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, balancing product availability with stock quality and reducing excess or slow-moving inventory. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues and support business priorities. \n
- Track supplier lead times, support forecasting and planning activities, and maintain accurate product and system data related to inventory and purchasing. \n
- Resolve operational issues related to pricing discrepancies, non-conforming receipts, returns, and other supply chain exceptions in cooperation with finance, warehouse, and shared services teams. \n
- Support strategic inventory actions, including stock package negotiations, intercompany stock transfers, and supplier-focused initiatives to improve service and profitability. \n

- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, or order management. \n
- Strong analytical skills with confidence in working with data, forecasts, and stock-related decisions. \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of working effectively across suppliers, sales teams, and internal functions. \n
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of ownership in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional European language skills are a plus. \n
- Proficient in system skills, including Excel, and experience with ERP or supply chain systems. \n
- Experience in the electronic components industry, distribution, or a supplier-facing commercial operations environment is preferred. \n
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or a related field is preferred. \n
