Your New Role\n

Your Role Accountabilities\n
    \n
  • Maintain a clean and functional facility at all times.
  • \n
  • Provide first-line support for facility maintenance issues to staff and clients.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors, including cleaners, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pest control.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with operational and scheduling staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • \n
  • Manage furniture inventory and assist with moving and installation, which may involve heavy lifting.
  • \n
  • Conduct regular health and safety checks, including fire alarm tests and PPE stock maintenance, while keeping complete records for audits.
  • \n
  • Be knowledgeable about WBD’s Health and Safety policies and conduct risk assessments and staff safety inductions.
  • \n
  • Perform ad hoc decorating, carpentry, or installation work as needed.
  • \n
  • Serve as a Fire Warden to help ensure the safety of all personnel on site.
  • \n
  • Be prepared for occasional out-of-hours work, including evenings and weekends.
  • \n
Qualifications & Experience\n
    \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and staff.
  • \n
  • Good general carpentry, metalwork, and plumbing skills.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable experience in facility maintenance roles.
  • \n
  • Ideal (but not essential): IOSH, First Aid at Work, Fire Door Inspection certifications.
  • \n
Working Conditions\n

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. Subject to applicable laws, WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
