Your New Role\nAs our portfolio continues to expand, the Global Technology & Operations team is at the forefront of building world-class media technology and IT systems. You’ll be instrumental in delivering Warner Bros. Discovery’s products and shaping our long-term technology strategy.
\nIn this role, you’ll primarily focus on WBD Sports, participating in a transformative technology initiative that integrates on-premise and cloud solutions across Europe. If you’re excited about new technologies and want to be part of a dynamic, international team, we want you in the heart of our sports broadcast operations!
Your Role Accountabilities\nAs part of the M2P Engineering team, you will provide Tier 2 support and engineering expertise for MAM and post-production platforms within a hybrid environment.
Support Responsibilities:\n- \n
- Provide Tier 2 support for escalated tickets. \n
- Coordinate incident and problem follow-ups with internal and external teams. \n
- Monitor platform health and performance. \n
- Plan maintenance activities and coordinate upgrades. \n
- \n
- Manage short-term engineering projects. \n
- Collaborate with the Tier 3 engineering team. \n
- Gather workflow requirements from various WBD Sports offices. \n
- Produce workflow and engineering documentation. \n
- Design centralized workflows across MAM and post-production platforms. \n
- \n
- Degree in Technology, Engineering, Broadcast, or a related field. \n
- Fluent in written and spoken English; French is a plus. \n
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. \n
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Broadcast Technology. \n
- Experience with MAM and post-production tools. \n
- Solid understanding of IT technologies and broadcast technical background. \n
- \n
- Basic scripting and development skills. \n
- Knowledge of AWS services and microservices architecture. \n
- \n
- Shift work (evenings and weekends) may be required. \n
- On-call rotation as needed. \n
- Based in London, UK, with minimal travel expected. \n
- Permanent contract. \n
This role follows a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work. Adjustments may be made based on business needs and in agreement with your Line Manager.
