Field Service Engineer - Pumps (Mechanical / Electrical)

\n £40,000-£43,000 + Overtime + Van + Benefits
We're working with a well-established engineering business that specialises in the service, repair, and installation of industrial pump systems across a wide range of sectors including water treatment, manufacturing, and utilities. They are now looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer (Pumps) to their growing team.
\n\nThe Role\n
\n
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of various pump systems on customer sites. You'll work both independently and as part of a wider engineering support team, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment is running efficiently.
\nTypical duties include:
\n- \n
- Servicing and repairing centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps \n
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on-site \n
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) \n
- Installing and commissioning new pump systems \n
- Providing technical support and advice to customers \n
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation \n
\nAbout You\n
\n
We're looking for someone with a strong engineering background and proven experience in field-based work. Ideally you will have:

- Experience working with industrial or commercial pump systems \n
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills \n
- A background in field service, maintenance, or installation engineering \n
- Good understanding of hydraulics and rotating equipment \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
- A self-motivated approach and strong customer-facing skills- \n
- IPAF Certification \n
- Confined Space Training \n
- 18th edition Electrical Competency \n
