\n An established, family-owned manufacturing business with over 40 years of experience is seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Driver to join its highly productive warehouse team.\n
\n The successful candidate will be calm, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.\n

\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Following written procedures for safe working and standard operating practices
\n
• Order picking within an 8,000 sq ft warehouse (approximately 200 picks per day)
\n
• Booking in stock and putting away
\n
• Transporting stock between manufacturing and warehouse facilities
\n
• Stock taking and inventory control
\n
• Re-boxing and weighing smaller orders
\n
• Booking in returned products
\n
• Goods inwards: unloading and storing raw materials
\n
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping
\n

Essential Requirements\n
\n

\n
• Valid external forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance)
\n
• Full, clean UK driving licence, to permit you to operate the company van
\n
• Experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment
\n
• Excellent command of the English language
\n
• Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision
\n
• Calm under pressure with a proactive approach
\n
• Courteous and professional when dealing with customers
\n

What's on Offer\n

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
\n
• Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
\n
• £14.00 per hour with annual salary reviews
\n
• Temp to perm opportunity
\n
• Full training and extended handover period
\n
• Uniform provided after qualifying period
\n
• Friendly, supportive working environment

Interview Process\n
\n

• First stage: Face-to-face interview with a site tour
\n
• Second stage: Competency-based assessment of van and forklift driving skills
\n
