We're working with a well-established organisation in Worksop seeking a proactive Finance Manager to take ownership of their finance function on a part-time basis. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll play a key role in supporting business performance through accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and commercial insight.

What You'll Be Doing

As Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the finance function and providing valuable financial information to support the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day finance operations and maintaining accurate financial records.
\n
• Producing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
\n
• Leading budgeting and forecasting activities.
\n
• Monitoring cash flow and reporting to senior stakeholders.
\n
• Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
\n
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
\n
• Supporting year-end processes and liaising with accountants and auditors.
\n
• Reviewing and improving financial controls and procedures.
\n
• Providing financial analysis to support growth and profitability.
\n
• Assisting with ongoing finance projects and business improvements.
\n

What We're Looking For

You'll be a confident and commercially minded finance professional who can work independently and manage a varied workload.

You'll ideally have:

\n
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT qualification, be part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
\n
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or similar.
\n
• Strong knowledge of management accounting and financial controls.
\n
• Experience producing management accounts and financial reports.
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
\n
