- Daily Rate: £196.07 PAYE plus holiday Pay or £256.62 Umbrella \n
- Location: Barbican Centre, London EC2Y (Hybrid) \n
- Job Type: Contract (Part-Time, 21 hours per week) \n
- Contract Duration: ASAP until 31 December 2026 (may be extended) \n
Our client, one of the world's leading arts and cultural institutions, is seeking an experienced Strategic People Partner to provide high-level HR support during a significant period of organisational change. This role is an excellent opportunity for a senior HR professional with strong business partnering and change management expertise.
\nDay-to-day of the role:
\n- \n
- Lead and support change management initiatives, including restructures, consultation exercises, and redundancy programmes. \n
- Partner with senior managers and department heads to provide strategic HR advice and workforce planning support. \n
- Advise on complex employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and sickness cases. \n
- Support leadership teams with organisational design, talent planning, and performance management. \n
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, and best practices. \n
- Drive inclusive recruitment and onboarding practices. \n
- Analyse people data and trends to inform decision-making and workforce strategies. \n
- Collaborate with Corporate HR, Occupational Health, Learning & Development, and other specialist teams. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Significant experience operating at HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor level. \n
- Strong experience leading and supporting organisational change programmes. \n
- Proven knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. \n
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases. \n
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) and/or relevant HR degree. \n
- Excellent influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Strong analytical and organisational skills. \n
- Experience within the arts, cultural, public sector, or higher education environment would be advantageous. \n
