\nLocation: Shrewsbury Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing insurance business seeking an experienced Senior Claims Manager to lead and oversee their Claims function across Commercial, Agricultural and Personal Lines business.
\nThis is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the claims process from first notification through to settlement, while leading a dedicated team and ensuring outstanding service delivery for clients.
\nThe successful candidate will combine strong technical claims knowledge with excellent leadership abilities, driving efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction across all claims activities.
\nThe Role
\nAs Senior Claims Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end management of claims, ensuring matters are handled promptly, accurately and in line with insurer and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, brokers and internal teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.

\nKey Responsibilities
\n• Manage and oversee the full claims lifecycle from notification through to settlement. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert claims guidance and support. • Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, brokers, claimants and their representatives to progress claims efficiently. • Proactively monitor and chase outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution. • Ensure claim settlements and customer payments are processed accurately and promptly. • Deliver exceptional levels of customer service and client care at all times. • Supervise, mentor and support Claims Handlers, providing technical guidance where required. • Review and evaluate claims to ensure compliance with company procedures, insurer requirements and industry regulations. • Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance claims handling efficiency and service quality. • Identify, investigate and resolve complex claims issues, securing satisfactory outcomes for all parties. • Maintain accurate records and reporting relating to claims activity.
