Mu client a progressive and expanding business as recruiting for a commercially minded qualified accountant to deliver as a Finance Business partner. Based in Milton Keynes the role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office p/w.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operational and senior stakeholders, providing financial insight, influencing decision-making, and driving business performance.

The Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting business leaders by delivering meaningful financial analysis, challenging performance, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide financial support and commercial insight.
\n
• Preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
\n
• Producing monthly management reports, analysing variances, and recommending actions.
\n
• Supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial modelling and business case analysis.
\n
• Identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial performance.
\n
• Driving continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
\n
• Collaborating with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

• About You

We're looking for someone who is commercially focused, confident in influencing stakeholders, and passionate about adding value beyond the numbers.

Ideal candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
\n
• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance role.
\n
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
\n
• The confidence to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
\n
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and Power BI is advantageous.
