Warehouse operative - high value goods

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established freight forwarding company for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team, working with high-value goods.

• Handling and processing high-value freight shipments
\n
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
\n
• Checking, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch
\n
• Operating a forklift to move and store stock (valid licence required)
\n
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records
\n
• Ensuring all goods are handled in line with security procedures
\n
• Working closely with the warehouse and operations team
\n
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
\n

\n
• Previous warehouse experience (freight/logistics preferred)
\n
• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
\n
• Experience handling high-value or secure goods is an advantage
\n
• Full UK driving licence preferred
\n
• Good attention to detail and reliability
\n
• Ability to work well as part of a team
\n

• Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience
\n
• Monday to Friday working hours
\n
• Stable, full-time permanent role
